Two Sisters Bookery is owned and operated by Barbara H. Galvin. Barbara purchased the store in October of 2011 and brings with her a wealth of experience with nearly 15 years in bookstore management and over 30 years in management and sales.
Barbara now lives in Wilmington and is a long time resident of North Carolina. She originally hails from Upstate New York, but has always had an affinity for the Cape Fear region. Even before her days at UNCW (Go Seahawks!) she enjoyed summers at the beach with her husband and
children and even lived in Carolina Beach for a time after college.

Barbara has been known to pick a mean banjo and is an avid reader, of course. In her off-time she loves spending time with family, friends, and especially with her four grandchildren.
Wilmington, NC shopping isn’t defined by shopping malls or big box retailers. The highest concentration of unique boutique shops can be found at one place, The Cotton Exchange.
